Capital Credit FAQ's

There are two basic types of disconnects at Randolph EMC. The first type of disconnect is for members who are moving and would like their power disconnected. They may be moving a mobile home and need the power disconnected so they can transport their home to a new location. If you need to have your power disconnected, please call our offices to set up a date in advance. If at the last moment your plans change, you can always call and change the date and or time.

The second type of disconnect is not a pleasant one for Randolph EMC. This type of disconnection of service occurs when a member has not paid his/her bill and Randolph EMC has exhausted every means of collecting it. When this type of disconnection occurs it is expensive for the member. To have your power reconnected there are reconnect fees and in many situations, the member must also make a deposit to have their power restored.

Please contact Randolph EMC at (336) 625-5177 or 1-800-672-8212 before your power is disconnected for non-pay. Many times Randolph EMC is able to work with our members to avoid these needless charges.
