Randolph EMC offers, free to our members, a residential Energy Audit service where we set up an appointment with you to meet at your home. REMC's energy use expert will visually observe accessible areas to determine your possibilities for energy conservation. The inspection includes: insulation, doors, windows, caulking, heating, air conditioning, water heating, appliances and other electrical components of your home. From this energy audit recommendations are made concerning how you can conserve on your energy consumption.

REMC will also give an evaluation and suggestions concerning any investment measurers that you might be considering to conserve energy. This includes, but is not limited to, new appliances, new windows, adding additional insulation and/or purchasing a new heating/air conditioning system. Investing in a new heating or cooling system is a major investment. Can your initial investment have any rate of return in energy savings? Could the possible savings from this investment be paid for from the savings on your electric bill?
