Meter
Tampering
When
people steal utility services, they endanger lives and take money
out of your pocket. Randolph Electric
Membership
Corporation must recover losses due to theft by the rates paid by
its honest customers. If you see
or know of meter tampering or of an individual receiving benefit
of stolen service, please call us at one of the above phone
numbers. A list of information will be handled
confidentially. Your cooperation can do more than keep rates
down…it could save someone’s life. Meter tampering is a
misdemeanor under North Carolina GS14.151 and is subject to
penalty. This activity will also affect your member in good
standing status.
