Rebate Programs
Agricultural Lighting Efficiency Incentives
Fluorescent lighting is recommended for poultry operations by the U.S. Dept. of Energy, as well as a number of agricultural extension documents. If you're a Randolph EMC member who participates in confined livestock operations, such as poultry or swine production, we encourage you to participate in our Agricultural Lighting Efficiency Program to improve the lighting efficiency in your facilities.
The initial purchase price of the compact fluorescent lamps can be significantly higher than for incandescent lamps. However, the CFL bulbs produce the same amount of light output with up to 75 percent less energy consumption!
Randolph EMC offers a rebate to members to help alleviate the up-front cost of purchasing these efficient bulbs. For qualifying projects, an incentive equivalent to 25 percent of the installed cost of replacement or retrofit will be offered to those members who can demonstrate replacement of existing lighting equipment with new energy efficient lighting technology.

Commercial & Industrial Lighting Efficiency Incentives
Lighting accounts for an estimated 20 percent of the total energy used in commercial buildings, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. A lighting upgrade is a great opportunity to save energy and improve the overall performance of your lighting system.
Randolph EMC's Commercial/Industrial Lighting Efficiency Program offers an incentive of $0.30/watt to those commercial and industrial members who can demonstrate energy savings by replacing existing lighting equipment with new energy efficient lighting technology.
