REMC's Commitment to Community

What makes electric cooperatives different from other utilities is that we are committed to giving back to the communities in which we serve. Whether it's sponsoring educational facilities at the N.C. Zoo, hanging banners high for local events or awarding grants to teachers for their innovative ideas, Randolph Electric participates. 

Though commitment to community is one of the four core values of Touchstone Energy, Randolph EMC's community-driven spirit isn't limited to the company. The employees at your co-op spend countless hours outside of their jobs serving in various civic and sports groups and school boosters clubs, and on local fundraising and chamber of commerce committees. One of the events we're most proud of is an annual Relay for Life golf tournament that is planned and executed by Randolph Electric employees that raises thousands of dollars to support cancer research and treatment.
