Smart Meter Communications

Randolph EMC will make every effort to keep you informed throughout the smart meter installation process. Members may receive a letter, postcard and/or phone call prior to their new meter being installed. Samples of these communications pieces are available below.

Our meter installers will need unobstructed access to your meter to be able to complete the upgrade. We are happy to accommodate members in any way that we can to help protect your privacy. If you need to make arrangements to allow our installers access to your property, please call 1.800.672.8212 or email us after being notified that your smart meter will soon be installed.

After we have visited your property, we will leave a door hanger note to let you know whether your meter replacement was successful or if we need additional assistance from you.
