What to Expect During the Smart Meter Installation
- Meter installation will take place Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
- You do not need to be present for us to perform the work as long as we have unobstructed access to your meter.
- All vehicles will be clearly marked with the Randolph EMC logo and representatives will carry proper identification.
- Your electric service will be briefly interrupted. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
- After our visit, you will find an informational door hanger to confirm that everything went as planned, or to inform you that your assistance is required to complete the installation.
Please be sure that we have your preferred contact number so that you will receive a reminder message prior to installation. Call or email us to update your number if necessary.
