Basketball Camp Scholarships Open. Apply by March 31.
For many young basketball players, the dream is clear. Stepping onto a college court, hearing the squeak of sneakers on hardwood, and learning from top-level coaches under bright arena lights. REMC is excited to help turn that dream into a reality for two students this summer.
REMC is once again teaming up with the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and N.C. State University through the Cooperative All Star Sports Camp Scholarship Program, and applications are officially open.
Two Camps. Two Opportunities. One Amazing Experience.
One young woman will earn a scholarship to attend the Wolfpack Women’s Basketball Camp at N.C. State University, held June 14 to 17. One young man will receive a scholarship to attend the Carolina Basketball School at UNC Chapel Hill, taking place June 27 to 30.
These are overnight camps, and the scholarships cover all expenses. Campers get a real taste of college life by staying in dorms, sharpening basketball fundamentals, and learning teamwork, leadership, and confidence both on and off the court. Participants also receive individual and group instruction from Division I coaches.
Who Can Apply?
Students who will be in sixth or seventh grade during the 2026 to 2027 school year are eligible to apply. All applications must be completed and submitted online by March 31.
A Tradition of Opportunity
More than 50 students across North Carolina will be awarded Cooperative All-Stars Sports Camp Scholarships this year. Now in its 22nd year, the program reflects electric cooperatives’ continued commitment to education, youth development, and community support.
